Polymer Clay Piece, Sea Siren

About Polymer Clay Piece, Sea Siren Sea Siren is a small polymer clay mixed media version of the lowfire wallhangings. She has shells for her nose, fingers, skirt, and breasts. Her hair and hip joints are strung sequines. Small baubles are attached randomly through her hair and on her body. Her arms are wire with springs slipped over them. Her shoulders, palms, skirt base, and shoes are polymer painted with acrylic paints. Sea Siren is an example of a creature that loves herself and thinks you should love her too!

Only one polymer wall hanging of this type was made because the lowfire clay was simply a better medium for combining different materials and adhering the findings to the various parts of the design. In other words, Sea Siren, although adoreable, was a pain in the arse.
