Polymer clay doll, Jaimie with her grandchild

About polymer Clay Doll, Jaimie Jaimie is sculpted anatomically correct from the waist up. To view her in her natural state, see her in African Attire. Her lower body is cloth and stuffed with pellets to give her the weight necessary to sit up on her own as her upper torso is quite large and heavy. Her lower legs and her feet are also sculpted.

Her costume was made from a child's dress found in a thrift store. Stockings and shoes were purchased doll supplies. Her earrings are delicate and just one small part of a large, old pair of costume earrings bought at a yard sale for pennies.

Even homely babies are beautiful to grandmas and their creator!
