The Pathfinder tool in Illustrator makes elaborate, intricate looking shapes that can be used in many interesting and even exciting ways. Wild Woman sports a hat and matching cape thanks to this tool. Her unusual hairdo is done with a selection from the custom brush library.

In honor of the tool that helped create her, I named this piece,Pathfinder, aka The Wild Woman. She became the prototype for Galactic Gypsy. Many new characters or figures can be derived from one orginial base drawing. It is faster to develop a new character using the wireframe of a formerly developed character. When using Layers, going off on new character development tangents is irresistible!
